How Do Dermal Fillers Work?

This procedure is quick and efficient with little to no discomfort. Most patients see results within 24 to 48 hours after the procedure. Because the procedure is minimally-invasive, patients can return to normal activities after 48 hours. Patients may experience some slight bruising, redness or swelling following the procedure, but this can be remedied with a cold compress. For best results, they should be injected at least 1 to 2 times a year.
