Nordlys

There are four main technologies that make up this cosmetic system. Each technology can target different skin concerns, from birthmarks to irregular pigmentation. Technologies include:

  • SWT® (Selective Waveband Technology) IPL: This intense pulsed light therapy technology targets skin imperfections using narrow light wavelengths. Compared to other IPLs, SWT® is less hot on the skin and requires fewer sessions to achieve desired results.
  • Frax 1550™ and Frax 1940™: These two lasers can resurface the skin using small bursts of energy, with little downtime or discomfort.
  • Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser: This technology can address a variety of skin imperfections such as veins and spots. During application, a stream of cool air (also known as SoftCool™) is released for a more comfortable treatment experience

What Does Nordlys Treat?

This revolutionary skin treatment can address a variety of skin concerns, including:

  • Skin texture – This system can improve the overall skin texture, giving the skin a bright, glowing appearance.
  • Acne and redness – SWT® IPL can reduce the appearance of blemishes and even the skin tone.
  • Vascular lesions – SWT® IPL and the Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser can treat vascular lesions such as leg veins, cherry angiomas and port wine stains.
  • Aging – Many effects of aging—such as freckles, age spots and dark spots—can be addressed with SWT® IPL.

Nordlys™ Light & Bright™

One of the most popular combinations with this system is the Light & Bright™ treatment. Light & Bright™ combines the SWT® IPL and the Frax 1550™ lasers on the face and chest areas to resurface and rejuvenate the skin by removing redness, dark spots and textural irregularities.

Light & Bright™ encourages natural collagen production and gives the skin a more youthful, smoother appearance with little to no downtime.
